One of the largest fields on the Norwegian continental shelf

Johan Sverdrup is among the five largest oilfields on the Norwegian continental shelf. With expected resources of 1.9–3.0 billion barrels of oil, the field will be one of the most important industrial projects in Norway over the next 50 years.

The Johan Sverdrup oilfield is located at Utsirahøyden in the North Sea, 140 kilometres west of Stavanger. The field will be operational from 2019 and shall be developed in multiple phases. Phase 1 includes a field centre comprising four permanent platform installations: A processing platform, a riser platform, a wellhead platform with drilling rig and an accommodation platform.

AF supplies all ventilation solutions to four of the platforms on the field.

To manage such a huge assignment, we are completely dependent on a good structure. We have monthly progress meetings with Statoil and have received very good feedback regarding what we have delivered thus far. We deliver on time and come across as orderly and professional.
