OBOS, which is a cooperative that is owned by its members, will be building the Elverkshuset urban block in the very heart of Nacka, which will consist of around 330 tenant-owned apartments. With 60 apartments and a communal roof terrace, Brf Ampere will be the first of five housing associations.

The homes are being built in different sizes to meet different needs, and they will fulfil the certification requirements for the Svanen Ecolabel. Among other things, this involves the use of sustainable materials and energy solutions.

At least 20 per cent of the homes will be made available via OBOS Deläga, which is a home-purchasing model that lowers the threshold that makes it possible for people to have their own home.

Construction is planned to begin in autumn 2022, and the homes will be ready to be moved into in summer 2024. The project is in the form of a turn key contract.
“We are delighted that OBOS is once again choosing to partner with HMB for the building of new, modern homes in Stockholm’s growing bordering municipalities”, says Bård Frydenlund, who is EVP of AF Gruppen in Sweden.

HMB is also currently building 115 environmentally certified homes in Sollentuna on behalf of OBOS.
