AF Gruppen (AFG) has been chosen by Ås municipality as turnkey contractor to build the new Solberg school.
The school to be built will be 7,400 m2 in size. This will be a children's school with two parallel classes at each grade level and a multi-purpose hall. The outdoor area comprises approx. 28,500 m2 developed school area besides the school and approx. 11,500 m2 woodland area and approx. 400 m2 in connection with the day care centre.
Work is planned to start at the end of June 2016 and is scheduled for completion in August 2018. The contract has a value of NOK 146 million, excluding VAT.
