Now you can nominate the candidate or candidates you wish to represent the employees on AF Gruppen’s board. AF has a wide range of diversity, and the election committee hopes that the nomination list will reflect different units, ages, genders, and geographical locations. If you want to be a candidate yourself, please contact a colleague who can nominate you. You cannot nominate yourself.

The board’s role is to safeguard and manage the interests of the owners and the best interests of the group. Together with the management and the rest of the organization, the board sets goals and strategic direction for AF. In addition to the shareholder-elected representatives, there are three employee representatives on the board. Employee representatives thus have a significant opportunity to influence important decisions and crucial choices going forward.

The role of an employee representative on a board is based on the Companies Act. An employee representative contributes to ensuring corporate democracy within the company on behalf of the employees. Everyone elected to the board will be offered training for board members and an introductory meeting with the CEO. As a board member, you will receive an annual honorarium.

Here’s how the election process works: Three candidates will be elected, with at least one from skilled workers and one from salaried employees. The representatives are elected for two years at a time to a joint, continuous board for AF Gruppen ASA/AF Gruppen Norge AS.

Nomination of candidates: You will receive an SMS from AF Gruppen during March 12th with a link to a form where you can nominate up to 2 candidates. The nomination deadline is April 12th.

Selection of candidates: You will receive an SMS from AF Gruppen on May 3rd with a link to a voting form. The voting deadline is May 16th.
